The present project aimed to make a data base of China minorities' ethnic sport. But the work was districted to Yunnan and Kwangsi districts, owing to difficulties for this project to cover the whole China.The work lasted for two years. It was the task for the first year to make a bibliography of the minorities' ethnic sport in China, and for the second year it was subject to complete an ethnic sport ethnography and the final report of this project.The two years work resulted in the bibliography with 1015 items of references and the ethnography which contained 44 ethnic sports of 8 minorities.

本项目旨在建立中国少数民族民族体育数据库。但由于该项目难以覆盖全国，因此只在云南和广西地区开展工作。这项工作持续了两年。第一年的任务是编制中国少数民族民族体育文献，第二年的任务是完成民族体育民族志和项目结题报告。经过两年的努力，形成了参考文献1015项的文献目录学和包含8个少数民族44个民族体育的民族志。
