In this study, the FEM analytical program with high accuracy applicable to RC structures with from ordinary strength to high strength materials was developed based on the previous basic experiment. The shear resistance mechanisms of RC members, shear resistance mechanisms after flexural yielding and the behavior of plastic hinges were investigated by FEM programs. From the analytical internal stress of members, the macroscopic models on which AIJ guideline's shear design equation was based were verified. The shear resistance mechanisms after flexural yielding were also investigated from the analytical internal stress flow. The macroscopic models verified by FEM analysis were developed and proposed to investigate the rational shear design method.
