Dew-point-sonde which has been used for routine observation of upper atmospheric water vapor is now inhibited to use since this type sonde contains CFCs to cool mirror surface. Therefore there are few data on water vapor content of the stratosphere although information on stratospheric water vapor is important to do accurate weather forcast. During this project, we discussed and summarized technical points as follow to develope the new-type dew (frost) point sonde which had non-CFCs.According to laboratory experiment, following points can be concluded ;1.Optical systems with semiconductor laser and Si-photo diode was very effective to detect dew droplets on mirror surfaceand depolarization changes in scattering light from the droplets.2.Proto type sonde was made and handing efficinecy was tested. The results of experiments showed that quality controle of mirror surface is very important, and total weight of sonde including buttery decreased comparing the value of traditional type sonde owing to weight increase of optical system which used to detect polarization properties of scattering light. In conclusion, dew (frost) point zonde which is used for upper atmospheric water vapor is practically hopeful.
常规观测高层大气水汽的露点仪由于含有冷却镜面的CFCs而被禁止使用。因此,尽管平流层水汽信息对准确的天气预报很重要,但平流层水汽含量的资料却很少。在本课题研究过程中,对研制新型无CFCs露(霜)点探头的技术要点进行了探讨和总结,通过室内试验,得出以下结论:1.半导体激光器和硅激光器的光学系统光电二极管对探测镜面上的露珠及其散射光的退偏变化是非常有效的进行了功效测试。实验结果表明,镜面的质量控制是非常重要的,由于用于探测散射光偏振特性的光学系统重量增加,使得包括黄油在内的探头总重量较传统型探头有所降低。因此,露点(霜)点纬向仪用于高层大气水汽的测量是有实际应用前景的。
