项目摘要

『日本語教育のための基本語彙調査』(国立国語研究所)所収「基本6000語」をパソコンPC9801を用い、パソコンソフト『桐VER.3』(管理工学研究所)上でデータベース化した。元の情報に加え各語のモ-ラ数、特殊拍の配置、アクセント、無声化の位置の4つの情報をコード化して入力を完了し、諸音声的条件での語彙検索を可能とした。この結果得られたデータベースから外国語としての日本語の音声教育にとって必要な語彙が容易に得られるようになった。さらにこのデータベースを利用して、ケニヤ人日本語学習者の韻律習得の調査を実施した。この調査ではまず『日本語教育のための基本語彙調査』で重要度の高いとされる語彙から2モ-ラ、3モ-ラの語をアクセント型別に選び出した調査票を作成し、被験者のアクセント習得を調査した。さらに複合語のアクセント規則の習得度を見るための調査票、文構造によるアクセント抑制の規則の習得、強調や疑問表現のピッチ変化におけるアクセントの保持を見るための調査票を同様に作成し録音資料を得て試行的な分析を行った。現段階では時間の制約などからアクセントの情報が研究代表者1名(東京出身)の直感のみに頼って入力されているため、今後アクセント辞典など何らかの情報源を典拠として再度チェックを行ったうえで本データベースを公開したいと計画している。
