项目摘要

(1)研究課題に関連する基礎的統計・資料・文献の収集ならびにデータベース化作業。文献資料については、日本でのフランス研究で比較的手薄なEC共通市場開設前の戦後復興期に重点を置き、日本の研究成果をサーベイすると同時に、とくに海外の英仏語図書ならびに研究論文の体系的な収集に努めた。これらのデータベース化にはパソコンソフト「dBASEIV」を使用し、プログラミングにより各文献にノートを書き加える仕様とし、キーワードによる文献名・ノートの検索が出来るよう工夫した。現データベース化した文献資料数は790にのぼる。(2)戦後復興期における政府の自動車産業政策と仏有力企業の対応について基礎的分析。とりわけ共通市場開設直前の50年代末において輸出を奨励する政府政策に対して、国有ルノ-公団の企業戦略と私企業プジョーのそれとを対比させ、併せてドイツVW社の動向を加味する中で、いかなる海外事業展開を果たしたのかという問題に焦点を絞り検討を加えた。考察の結果、ドイツVW社の事業展開は堅実かつ入念な準備を経ているのに対して、フランス企業は拙速かつ他律的である姿が浮き彫りになった。これらは近日中に公表したいと考えている。(3)80年代以降成熟期に入ったフランス自動車産業の今日的動向について、日本自動車産業との対比において検討した。その作業の一環として、フランス経済計画庁研究助成基金による研究論文集『フォード主義VSトヨタ主義-日仏自動車生産システムにおける近代化の道』の翻訳に取り組んだ。この論文集は、日仏システムをフォード主義・トヨタ主義をキーワードにした、時宜にかなうトピックを扱っている比較研究であり、フランス研究者が日仏自動車産業発達史をいかなる目で見ているかを示す興味深い論文集である。これについては共訳書として近く公刊される予定である。
