多端子通信システムは複数の送信者から、複数の受信者への情報伝送を目的としたシステムの数学的モデルである。このシステムにおいて、情報伝送の効率や、信頼性の理論的限界を導くことは、非常に重要な問題である。本研究者は、多端子通信システムにおけるこのような問題を考察した。その内容、及び成果の概要は以下の通りである。1.多元通信路の符号化の研究:多元通信路の最も基本的なものの一つとして多重アクセス通信路がある。これは、2人の送信者が1人の受信者へ二入力一出力無記憶通信路を用いて情報伝送を行うシステムである。本研究者は多重アクセス通信路のある特別なクラスとして、送られる2つの送信系列に対し、相関を有する雑音が加法的に加わる通信路(加法型多重アクセス通信路)に注目し、一般の多重アクセス通信路について未解決であった幾つかの問題をこのシステムにおいて完全に解決した。2.多元情報源の符号化の研究:多元情報源の符号化において、複号された系列と元の系列の一致の尺度として前者の後者に対する平均歪を考え、これをある決められた値(歪基準)以下に押さえるという制約(歪制約)が考えられる。さらに、与えられた歪制約の下での伝送率ベクトルの占める領域はどうなるかを論じることができる。この理論は多端子伝送率・歪理論と呼ばれる。特に情報源が音声信号や画像信号などのような連続値をとる場合は、この枠組みでしか扱えない。本研究者は、情報源が多次元正規分布、歪が平均2乗誤差の場合にこの問題を考察した。情報源が2個で、一方の情報源が補助情報として働く場合に関して、この問題は本研究者により既に解決されている。本年度は、この結果を基に、情報源が3個以上の場合の符号化システムを考察し、幾つかの特別な場合に、これを解決した。

The following is a summary of the contents and achievements of the project. 1. A Study on Symbolization of Multiple Communication Path: The Most Basic of Multiple Communication Path Two messengers, one receiver, two inputs, one output, no memory, communication path, transmission path. This paper focuses on the problems of multiple access communication paths, such as special access, transmission, transmission, correlation, addition, and so on, and completely solves the problems of multiple access communication paths in general. 2. Research on the Symbolization of Multidimensional Information Sources: The Symbolization of Multidimensional Information Sources In addition, under the control of The theory of multi-terminal transmission rate, the theory of deviation, and the theory of multi-terminal transmission rate. Special information sources include audio signals and video signals. This paper investigates the problem of information sources with multiple normal distributions and skew mean 2 error. There are two information sources, one of which is the supplementary information, and the other is the problem solved by this researcher. This year, the results of the study, information sources and more than three occasions of symbolic status, a few special occasions, and so on.
