A SYNTHETIC RESEARCH AND INVESTIGATION OF EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN MODERN JAPAN

本项目的目的是调查近代日本的课外活动，并从以下几个方面阐明这些活动的实际情况：1.与课程活动密切相关的课外活动；2.学校的仪式和活动；3.班级和学校的自我管理活动；4.与学生教育和职业指导有关的活动。5.校外教育活动。在收集和研究资料方面，我们采取了两种方式。一种是收集课外活动的实践材料，特别是在爱特县的访问学校；另一种是在国家或公共或大学图书馆研究介绍这些活动的印刷品和包含明治、大正、昭和时代这些活动的书籍。每个研究人员都使用这些材料进行研究。我们不能对我们的研究课题进行完整的研究。然而，我们可以对这一领域进行基础性研究。

The aim of this project is to investigate extra-curricular activities in modern Japan and clarify actual conditions of these activities in the following points.1.Extra-curricular activities closely related to curricular activities.2.School ceremonies and events.3.Self-governmental activities in a class and a school.4.Some activities related to educational and vocational guidance to pupils.5.Educational activities outside the school.In collecting and researching materials, we took two means. The one is collect materials for practice of extra-curricular activities, especially in visitting schools of Aict prefecture and the other is to research printed materials explaining these activities and books containing studies of these activities in Meiji, Taisho and Showa era, in national or public or university libraries.Collected materials were classed under above each class. Each investigator carried on his study by using these materials. We could not make a complete study of our subject of study. However, we could make fundamental studies of this field.
