We study nosho (farm literture) in the Edo period to explain states of reproduction covering the whole of food, clothing and housing that are essential to live in the Edo period. We placed the nosho as a literature group that has both hardware and software of agricultural technique technique. And we approached industrial technique from three sides of a human being, a thing and information without putting in a narrow frame of industiral technique. Next we introduced a visual angle of "the formation of the region" that we put production, consumption and culture in the region together as one. We reserched into historical material of nosho in the Edo period that are scattered all over the country. And we classified fifteen themes and made catalogs each nosho.
