本研究は漁撈伝承の系譜を明らかにするために、わが国の黒潮の流れとの関係や親潮の影響を考慮し、また、伝統的な漁撈用具のうち、アワビ漁をはじめとする採貝、採藻、捕魚貝等の基本的な漁具を主軸として、下記の地域における調査、研究を実施した。(A).静岡県下田市沿岸一帯の調査。(B).宮城県気仙沼市沿岸一帯の調査。(C).青森県野辺地湾沿岸一帯の調査。また、あわせて、上記調査地域の伝統的な漁撈用具とかかわりの深い小型木造漁船の形態、製作技術、造船儀礼などについても調査を実施した。さらに、古文献、近世古文書史料の調査を実施することができたため、研究を推進するうえで、実証的な展開をすることができた。

This study considers the relationship between the fishing heritage and the current of the country, and the influence of the parent tide. It also considers the basic fishing gear of the fishing system, such as shellfish, algae and shellfish. (A). Investigation of a coastal zone in shimoda city, shizuoka prefecture. (B). Investigation of a zone along the coast of kennuma city, miyagi prefecture. (C). A survey of a zone along the coast of Noguchi Bay, Aomori Prefecture. The investigation of fishing equipment, manufacturing technology and shipbuilding ceremony of deep and medium-sized wooden vessels in the investigation area was carried out. The investigation of ancient documents and modern ancient books and historical materials has been carried out, the research has been promoted, and the development of evidence has been carried out.
