組織誘導再生法(CTR法)は歯周病によって失われた歯根膜と歯周組織の結合を元に戻す、すなわち新付着の獲得を主目的としたものであったが、その開発の過程で骨のみを選択的に誘導再生する方法として、骨誘導再生法(GBR法)が試みられるようになった。そこで我々は、口腔外科領域における顎骨の辺縁切除あるいは区域切除を行った症例に対し、延伸成形によって作製したポリ-L-乳酸(PLLA)膜を用いて顎骨の再建を行うことを目的とし以下の実験を行った。実験方法:ビ-グル犬の両側下顎第3および第4前臼歯を抜歯し、抜歯窩が上皮にて被覆されるまで約3ヶ月間放置。両側下顎骨の辺縁切除(8×10×5mm)を行い片側はこの欠損部にPLLA膜を適合させ実験群とし、反対側は膜を置かずに対照群とした。これらを12週で屠殺し骨の吸収、添加の状態を軟X線写真・組織染色により評価した。結果:X線上でも組織学的にも、対照群と比較して実験群ではあきらかに骨の造成が認められた。考察:GBR法に用いる膜は、歯周治療のためのGTR用の膜と同様、細胞遮断性や生体親和性が要求される。今回我々が用いたPLLA膜は、吸収性高分子材料であるため除去する必要がない。また、延伸成形することにより、強度及び圧電性が付与されており、長期の治療期間に合わせて落込みを防ぐスペースメ-キング機能を強化させたことと同時に、骨の新生を誘導すると考えられた。

Investigation: the GBR method was used to treat the membrane, the treatment of the week, the homology of the membrane, the cell blocking body and the sexual requirement of the GTR. This time, we use PLLA membrane and absorbent polymer materials to remove the necessary materials. The mechanical properties, strength and electrical properties of the equipment are paid to the customers for a long period of time, and the equipment is capable of enhancing the performance of the equipment at the same time.
