项目摘要

1992年11月に千葉市中央区・稲毛区在住の男女1000名を対象とした第1回調査(「ストレスと健康に関する調査」、郵送法)を実施し、387の有効回収票を得た。1年後の1993年11月中に第1回調査の有効回答者387名を対象とした第2回調査を行なった。この結果、257票の有効回答を得た(回収率66.4%)。本年度はこのデータの整理、補充を行ない、2時点をつなぐデータをようやく完成した。本研究の中心的な被説明変数は個人の不快な主観的状態である心理的ディストレスである。データの解析は目下続行中であるが、いまのところ確認されたことがらは以下のようなものである。(1)1時点目と2時点目のディストレスの相関は.60と大きい。(2)2時点目のディストレスに対する1時点目他の変数の相関は以下のようである。家族のストレーン:.36、仕事のストレーン:.22、ライフイベント:.32、サポート:-.25。いずれも統計的に有意であり、相関は大きい。(3)(2)のうち、ライフイベント、サポートの効果はむしろ1時点目のディストレスに対する相関より大きい。フイベント、サポートの効果はむしろ1時点目のディストレスに対する相関より大きい。(4)2時点目のディストレスを従属変数とし、1時点目のディストレス、年収、自分の親の同居の有無、家族のストレーン、仕事のストレーン、サポート、ライフイベントを独立変数とした共分散分析を行なったところ、ディストレスとイベントに有意な効果が示された。(5)サポートのストレス緩衝効果を調べるために、サポートとストレッサー変数の交互作用を検討したが、ライフイベント、家族のストレーン、仕事のストレーンいずれについても有意な効果は検出されなかった。サポートの主効果も見いだされなかった。したがって、1時点目のサポートの有無は2時点目のディストレスに何も影響も及ぼしていないと考えざるを得ない。
