项目摘要

This study was designed to clarify the structual correlation of motives and barrier factors among regular sports participants, contingent event repeaters, and dropouts. Longitudinal surveys were planned toward two different cohorts. The first cohort was composed of participats in Kanagawa Walking Seminar, Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama. The second cohort was sampled from participants in the 3rd Fuji-Kawaguchiko Lavender March in 1994. A fixed-alternative qustionnaire, which was contained of motives, barriers, and reasons for sports participation and withdrawal, was conducted with 279 participants in the first cohort and 489 participants in the second cohort. After categorized into regular sports participants, contingent event repeaters, and dropouts by analyzing their sports career pattern, the specific correlations between motives and barrier factors were demonstrated in each group. Futhermore, an actual sports participant and a specious sports participant was identified. People who were superficially involved in sports showed their particular attitude, from which the reasons for withdrawal and non-regular sports participation were derived such a factor as lack of time, money, facility and oppotunity. Data suggested that this specious people covered their actual attitude which was not socialized into sports with these reasons.

本研究旨在探讨常参加运动、重复运动与中途退出运动之动机与障碍因素之结构相关。纵向调查计划对两个不同的队列。第一个队列由参加神奈川步行研讨会，神奈川区，横滨。第二组样本来自1994年第三届富士河口湖熏衣草游行的参与者。采用固定替代问卷法，对第一队列279名和第二队列489名被试进行了体育参与和退出的动机、障碍、原因等问卷调查。通过对体育生涯模式的分析，将其分为经常参加体育运动者、偶然事件重复者和辍学者，并对各组的动机和障碍因素进行了具体的相关分析。确定了一个实际的体育参与者和一个似是而非的体育参与者。表面上参与体育活动的人表现出其独特的态度，从中可以得出退出和不经常参加体育活动的原因是缺乏时间、金钱、设施和机会。数据表明，这些似是而非的人掩盖了他们的实际态度，而不是社会化的体育与这些原因。
