本研究においては,(1)能力判断スキーマについて探索的に調査し情報が集められた.児童を対象とした自由記述形式の調査から,練習時間による個人内目標,問題のレイアウトによる知覚された難易度,成績フィードバックによる目標などが有効と考えられた.(2)上記の要因が,利用可能な能力判断スキーマとされ,直接自己効力を操作し遂行を変えることが試みられた.研究1:練習時間操作による個人内目標の操作.M小学校3年生66名が被験者とされた.算数計算課題を用いて,藤生(1992)と同様の手続きによって実施された.実験の前に行われる計算課題の練習時間を±10秒とする操作を行い,1分間の計算課題を4セッション行った.その結果,自己効力および2セッション目の遂行量において条件の主効果が得られた.研究2:問題のレイアウトによる知覚された難易度の操作.T小学校3年生71名が被験者とされた.算数計算課題を用いて,藤生(1992)と同様の手続きによって実施された.実験において提示される問題のレイアウト(行間,課題間隔)が広いレイアウト操作条件をもうけた.その結果,自己能力のみについて条件の主効果が有意であった.研究3:成績フィードバックによる目標の操作.A小学校3年生50名が被験者とされた.算数計算課題を用いて,藤生(1992)と同様の手続きによって実施された.本実験の1週間前に行われるスクリーニングテストの結果を操作し,10個多く伝える実験条件とそのまま伝える統制条件を設けた.その結果,自己効力および課題遂行にも条件の主効果が確認された.本年度は,まだ予備的な検討段階であり,能力判断スキーマ自体を整理するところまでは至っていない.能力判断スキーマのうち,いくつかの顕著な要因を取り上げたのみである.今後,要因を整理し有益な研究へとつなげていくつもりである.今回得られた研究結果についても,十分な検討を行い成果を公表する予定である.
