本研究においては、以下のような点が目的とされた。(1)数学課題遂行に影響を与える認知的諸要因についての文献を集め整理する。(2)得られた諸要因について、発達的に課題遂行との関係を調査する((3)課題遂行に最も影響力を持つと考えられる要因を操作し、数学課題遂行を改善することを試みる。この(3)については、本研究期間内では終了できなかった)。目的(1)における文献的検討の結果、性別、自己効力、不安、数学の有益性(結果予期)、数学自己概念、目標志向性、数学課題(Dowling(1976)の数学課題を改訂)、数学に関する先行経験、進路選択などが変数として取り入られることになった。この結果を受けて、以下のような調査が行われた。方法 被験者;大学生164名、高校2年生288名、中学2年生144名 器具;上記変数についての質問紙 手続き;Bandura and Schunk(1981)形式で、課題を解けない程度の時間見せた後、できるかどうかを判断させ課題特定自己効力測度に回答させた後、各測度および数学課題が実施された。結果 (1)尺度構成が行われ、各尺度とも十分な信頼性を持っていることが確認された。数学課題については、高校生以上において天井効果を示す傾向が現れた。高校生、大学生には容易であったと考えられる。(2)発達傾向 多くの変数が、中学生と高校生間で有意差があり、成績が高くなる傾向が見られた。大学生と高校生間においては有意な差は確認できなかった。文化系大学生が対象となったためであると考察された。(3)パス解析 パス解析の結果、中学生において一般的自己効力から、課題特定的自己効力を経由して、数学課題成績を予測するパスが有意となった。他変数からの数学課題成績へのパスは有意ではなかった。自己効力が数学成績予測に重要な変数であることが確認された。

The purpose of this study is to explore the following issues. (1)The main factors influencing the implementation of mathematical problems and cognition are collected and organized.
