本研究の主目的は従来の協力ゲームの理論を発展させた「集合ゲーム」の理論を社会システム分析に応用することである。そのため、以下のような研究を行った。1.研究の第一段階として集合ゲームの理論と有効性関数理論(effectivity function)の間の関係を考察した。両理論には選好関係の導入を除いて共通な関係があることが分かった。しかし、その解の概念には大きな違いがある。2.投票システムと集合ゲームの関係を考察した。投票システムをゲーム理論の枠組みで分析すると単純ゲームになるが、それを投票問題の数で多重化すると集合ゲームの数学的構造と同値になる。この考察により集合ゲームの解の新たな公理的アプローチが導かれた。これは従来の研究にない新たな結果であり、その結果は東洋大学経済研究所Working Paperとしてまとめられ、国際雑誌に投稿される予定である。3.社会システムの実験として、囚人のジレンマゲームの学生実験を行った。東洋大学経済学部1年生のうち約70名を対象とした。実験に対するインセンティブの与え方が不十分であったため、集計された結果は完全に満足のいくものにはならなかったが、研究を進める上での着想点を与えてくれた。4.集合ゲームの解の公理化に関連した理論的研究として論文“Dual Axiomatizations of Soulutions of Cooperative Games"を作成し、7月にSocial Choice and Welfare国際学会、9月に理論計量経済学会で発表した。5.集合ゲームの基となる協力ゲームの手法を用いて、ネットワークシステムの理論的モデルを構築し、ネットワーク間の競争の問題を考察した。この結果は論文“A Cooperative Game of a Network Competition"としてまとめられ、東洋大学経済研究所の「経済研究年報」に掲載される。
