项目摘要

研究代表者の総括のもとに、研究分担者は3つの研究課題に基づく研究班(調査班、作成班、流通班)をそれぞれ分担して、研究を進めた。調査班はテキストの現状調査研究、作成班は標準テキストの作成研究、流通班はデータ流通方式の研究に当たった。とくに、最終年度に当たり、研究の評価ととりまとめを全体で行った。本年度の特記すべき研究成果の一つに、国文学研究におけるコラボレーション(電子的協調作業方式)による研究態様の検討がある。コラボレーションによる工学系の研究は盛んであるが、人文科学分野における試みは初めてである。インターネット上のコラボレーションは単なるWWWと電子メールだけでは困難であり、コラボレーションを支援する機能が必要である。すなわち、情報共有を支援する機能、情報共用を支援する機能、およびコミュニケーションの機能が必要である。これらの機能はグループのコンピュータ環境で稼動することが必要条件であり、このためにはWWWブラウザ、Javaアプレットなどパソコンで稼動する環境を前提とする必要がある。とくに、国際的な国文学データベースの構築と利用を考えると、柔軟なシステム環境を考慮する必要がある。具体的にはオックスフォード大学などとの日本古典文学本文データベースの共同構築の研究を開始し、得られた研究成果を国文学研究資料館などでの機関研究に引き継ぐことを可能とした。詳細およびその他の研究成果についてはテキスト処理班の研究成果報告書にまとめている。最終年度のため、研究成果の総合的な取りまとめのためのシンポジウムを開催し、研究を総合的に評価した。また、全体的な研究成果報告書を印刷物にまとめ、またCD-ROMによる電子出版を行った。さらに、インターネットによる公開を検討している。
