Controllability/uncontrollability of aversive stimuli and emotion

本研究旨在从两个方面探讨外感受性反馈刺激对不可避免性电击恐惧的衰减作用；条件情绪反应（CER）和基础情绪水平（BEL）。在两个大鼠实验中，我们采用三组设计(master组(M)、轭组（Y)、轭反馈组（YF））进行条件舔舐抑制范式，并进行毽子回避准备。在试验1中，最小试验间隔时间为30s， M组和YF组的BEL低于Y组。在试验2中，最小试验间隔时间为5s， M组BEL低于Y组和YF组。这些结果表明，反馈刺激的恐惧衰减作用取决于其抑制特性，可控性和运动感受性反馈刺激对bel的影响存在不同的潜在机制，但在CER方面，由于我们采用的测量方法不合适，我们获得的信息很少。

The present research was designed to investigate an attenuating effect of an exteroceptive feedback stimulus on fear from inescapable shock in the two acpects ; Conditioned emotional response (CER) and Basal emotional level (BEL). In two experiments with rats, we employed the triadic design (Groups master (M), yoked (Y), yoked-feedback (YF) in conditioned licking suppression paradigm with shuttlebox avoidance preparation. In Experiment 1, in which minimum inter-trial interval was 30s, Group M and YF demonstrated less BEL than Group Y.In Experiment 2, which minimum inter-trial interval was 5s, Group M demonstrated less BEL than Group Y and YF.These results suggests that fear-attenuating effect of feedback stimulus depends on its inhibitory property, and that there are different underlying mechanisms between the effect of controllability and the effect of exeroceptive feedback stimulus on BEL.In terms of CER,however, we acquired little information because the measure we employed was not appropriate.
