Research of the Change of Community Structure during the Reconstruction Phase after Disaster

本研究对灾后社区重建过程的研究发现如下。灾难对下层人民造成的破坏程度比上层和中产阶级大得多。重建阶段最重要的问题之一是下层阶级和老年人如何恢复他们的住房和(或)工作。造成社区居民利益冲突严重的主要因素之一是灾区的区划方式。在重建阶段，社区层面对一些问题的反应是不同的，因为每个社区都有其独特的结构特征。

Some findings of this research about the community reconstruction process after disaster are as follows.1. The degree of damage caused by disaster is much larger for lower-class people than for upper-class and middle-class. One of the most important issues during the reconstruction phase is how lower-class and aged people can recover their housing and (or) jobs.2. One of major factors that have caused serious conflicts of interests among community residents is in the way of zoning in disaster area.3. The community level reaction to some issues during the reconstruction phase isn't the same because each community has its distinctive structural character.
