In this research, we tried to analize inscriptions about seviri Augustales of Narbo (Narbonne) and Nemausus (Mimes). These two cities are main ones of Gallia Narbonesis. And seviri Augustales are important conductor of imperial cult in the provincial cities, specially in the western Empire.Acoording to our analysis, seviri Augustales originated from liberti (emancipated slaves) and gained the second position in the city of the second century, though they were opponent in Narbo and supporter of decuriones (ari stocrats) in Nemausus.They succeeded in the promotion of social status in the city. Generally speaking, liberti were excluded from policial field in the city, but prominent ones caught the chance by becoming sevir Augustalis. An regards emperors, they found their supporter in seviri Augustales of the provincial cities. Namely they seem to be product of romanization in the early Roman Empire.

在本研究中，我们试图分析关于Narbo（Narbonne）和Nemausus（Mimes）的seviri Augustales的铭文。这两个城市是Gallia Narbonesis的主要城市。而七位奥古斯都是行省城市，特别是西罗马帝国的重要宗教领袖，根据我们的分析，七位奥古斯都虽然在纳尔博是反对派，在内莫索斯是支持派，但他们的思想起源于解放奴隶，在世纪在城市中占据了第二位，成功地提升了城市的社会地位。一般来说，自由派被排除在城市的政治领域之外，但突出的人抓住了机会，成为sevir Augustalis。至于皇帝，他们发现他们的支持者在seviri Augustales的省会城市。也就是说，它们似乎是罗马帝国早期罗马化的产物。
