The purpose of this research goes around A comparative Study on the Chinese (Taiwanese) Civil Code [1929], focusing on its closest relationship with the Japanese Civil Code [1896]- in pursuit of establishment of the new research field : the Comparative Legal Study on the Asian Civil Law. The main results from this research are as follows. 1.Codifying process of the Chinese (Taiwanese) Civil Code [CCC] : CCC is a direct successor to the 'Taishin-minritsu' whose drafter was Yoshimasa MATUOKA,one of the leading Japanese civil lawyers at that time. 2. Structure and content of CCC : CCC could be summed up as modeld after the the Japanese, German and Swiss Civil Code. The Japanese Civil Code [JCC] had playd a fundamental role in framing CCC surely, though there are some differences found between JCC and CCC.Such similarities and differences suggest us the necessity of promoting A Comparative Study on the CCC.3. CCC and the Chinese (Taiwanese) society : It is said that in case the principles of CCC conflict with the social mores, the latter prevail. The point drives us to A Comparative Study on the legal conscience of the Chinese (Taiwanese) people. 4. Development of the Chinese (Taiwanese) Civil Law : We can find that the Taiwanese Civil Law has been evolved through closer reference to the Japanese Civil Law. However, very few of the present Japanese civil lawyers, have serious interest in the present Chinese (Taiwanese) Civil Law. We have, therefore, another reason why we have to devote ourselves to A Comparative Legal Study on the Chinese (Taiwanese) Civil Code.

本研究围绕《中国（台湾）民法典比较研究》[1929]展开，着眼于其与日本民法典[1896]的最密切关系，力求建立一个新的研究领域：亚洲民法比较法学研究。本研究的主要结果如下：1.中国（台湾）民法典的编纂过程：中国（台湾）民法典是“台新民法典”的直接继承者，“台新民法典”的起草者是当时日本著名的民事律师之一松冈吉正。2. 民事合作关系的结构和内容：民事合作关系可以概括为模仿日本、德国和瑞士的民法典。尽管日本民法典与日本民法典之间存在着一定的差异，但日本民法典无疑在制定共同责任制度方面发挥了基础性作用。这些异同表明，我们有必要推动ccc比较研究。中华基督教会与中国（台湾）社会：据说，如果中华基督教会的原则与社会风尚发生冲突，则以社会风尚为准。这一点促使我们对中国（台湾）人民的法律良知进行比较研究。4. 中国（台湾）民法的发展：我们可以发现，台湾民法是在借鉴日本民法的基础上发展起来的。然而，目前的日本民事律师中，很少有人对中国（台湾）民法有浓厚的兴趣。因此，我们有另一个原因，我们必须致力于中国（台湾）民法典的比较法律研究。
