项目摘要

Time-space correlation of wind pressures and wind-induced response of spherical domes with long spans have been investigated based on a simultaneous pressure measurements in a wind tunnel as well as on a dynamic response analysis of the dome in the time domain. The subjects of this research are a circular flat roof and a rigidly-jointed single-layr latticed dome with triangular net work.(1)Dynamic response and resultant load estimation of a flat roofThe span/height ratio of the model was changed from 1 to8. The dynamic response of the roof was analyzed in the time domain as well as in the frequency domain, using the experimental data of the wind pressures. In the analysis, both the deflection and the bending moment were considered as the most important responses. The results indicate that the equivalent static pressure, which reproduces the maximum response, can be evaluated by using a gust loading apporoach. The effects of various parameters on the gust loading factor were investigated. Based on the results, an empirical formula for estimating the gust loading factor was provided.(2)Wind loads and dynamic response of rigidly-jointed single-layr latticed domeNine models with different rise/span and wall-height/span ratios were tested. First, the structure of the pressure field on the dome was investigated using a proper orthogonal decomposition technique. It is found that the characteristics of the fluctuating pressure field can be represented by a quasi-steady theory. Then, the dynamic response of model domes was analyzed in the time domain. The results indicate that the dynamic response is dominated by several specific modes ; that is, the first three of four axisymmetric modes and a few lower asymmetric modes with small wave numbers both in the circumferential and radial directions. A simple approach for evaluating the dynamic response was proposed.
