A COMPUTER SIMULATION AID FOR COMPLEX ECONOMIC-ECOLOGICAL SYSTEMS AND DEVELOPMENT OF EXPERIMENTAL METHODS FOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEMS.

本项目两年来的主要研究成果（1995 - 1996）的主要成果如下：1）基于"知识工程"框架的经济生态系统建模，我们开发了一种支持系统，用于对复杂的经济生态现象进行建模，它可以在以下方面帮助那些不一定是计算机模拟编程专家的研究人员或分析人员：（1）设置关于模型结构和参数的假设或条件，（2）在与计算机系统的对话中修改模型，（3）在高性能计算机工作站上进行模拟实验，分析复杂的经济生态系统，采用基于知识的编程框架，在计算机工作站上实现了模拟辅助系统。它是面向对象程序设计和逻辑程序设计的结合，使建模者能够将模型功能/知识的描述与模拟过程的描述分开。2）将博弈/实验经济学的实验方法与复杂经济学的模拟方法相结合，生态系统。进行了大量的实验，以模拟在复杂的经济和生态系统中制定市场规则的过程基于一个从博弈实验中推导出的简单假设。本文用几种遗传算法对一个市场中有上百个经济参与者的复杂经济模型进行了计算机模拟。

The main research results of this project for two years (1995-1996) are listed as follows :1) Modeling of economic-ecological systems based on the framework of "knowledge engineering".We have developed a kind of support system for modeling a complex economic and ecological phenomena which aids researchers or analysts who are not necessarily specialists of computer simulation programming in the following ways :(1) setting hypothesis or conditions concerning a model structure and parameters,(2) modification of the model in a dialogue with the computer system,(3) use of simulation experiments on the workstation of high performance to analyze the complex economic-ecological systems.A knowledge based programming framework is used to implement such a simulation aid system in the computer workstation. It is the combination of object-oriented programming and logic programming that enables modelers to separate the description of the model functions/knowledge and those of the simulation procedures.2) Integrating an experimental method of gaming/experimental economics with a simulation method of the complex economic-ecological systems.A number of experiments is conducted to simulate a process of formulating market rules in a complex economic and ecological system based on a simple hypothesis deducted form the gaming experiment. Several forms of genetic algorithms (GA) is tested in the computer simulation of such complex economic model with over hundreds economic actors pariticipated in a market.
