本研究では、環境教育の一環としての(人間を含めた)生物とその相互依存関係をテーマとする小学校での総合学習が、子どもの地球環境認識、とくに共生概念の発達にどのような影響を与え、また、それはどのような具体的行為として結実しうるのかについて、ドイツにおける行為思考Handlungsorientierungという授業の一方法原理を手がかりとして考察した。ドイツでは、小学校の環境教育は例えば事実科Sachuknde/Sachunterrichtにおいておこなわれており、そこには行為志向の方法原理が取り入れられている。行為志向とは、子どもの具体的活動を学習の出発点とし、知識と行為とが常に関連づけられることを企図することによって、子どもの十全な人間形成を図るものである。本研究では、分析対象として、都市における捨て犬や捨て猫の問題に注目することで、飼い主である人間の自己中心主義(人間中心主義)を反省し、人間と他の生物(犬や猫)との共生のあり方を考える、小学校4年の総合学習の授業を取り上げた。分析の結果、人間と他の生物との共生概念の発達とその行為化には、子どもが無意識のうちに身につけてる人間至上主義、人間中心主義がどのようなものであり、それがどんな形で具体的に日常世界の中にあらわれているかを反省することが、大きな影響を及ぼしていること、また、授業の中での体験(例えば捨て犬や捨て猫の収容施設の見学)が共生概念を形成していく上でのベースとなり、共生を実現しようとする行為を動機づけていることが明らかになった。

The result of analysis, the development of the concept of symbiosis between human beings and other organisms, the behavioralization of human supremacy, human-centralism, the reflection of the concrete everyday world, the influence of human beings, and the influence of human beings The concept of symbiosis is formed in the middle of the class (e.g., the dog, the cat and the environment design), and the behavior of symbiosis is motivated.
