1.対人恐怖症の前対人恐怖症状態(一部の対人恐怖症患者が、明らかな対人恐怖症の発症以前に自覚する対人関係の違和感について、研究者が仮に付けた名称)についてのアンケートを制作した。主な質問項目は、前対人恐怖症の出現年齢・前対人恐怖症状態が出現したきっかけ・前対人恐怖症状態が出現する以前の対人関係・前対人恐怖症状態の症状・前対人恐怖症状態の出現から対人恐怖発症までの期間等である。アンケート調査の対象として、研究者が平成5年度から6年度にかけて行った、対人恐怖症克服体験記(「生活の発見」誌に掲載)による対人恐怖症研究の対象者からDSM-IIIでsocialphobiaに適合すると考えられた88名を選択した。3,「生活の発見会」事務局を訪問し、調査の主旨・内容について説明し、アンケート調査への協力を依頼した。「生活の発見会」の理事会により研究者の調査が承認された。4,88名の対象者の対して、アンケートを郵送した。対象者のプライバシー保護のために、アンケートの郵送には「生活の発見会」事務局の協力を受けた。5,55名からアンケートへの回答を得た(回収率は62.5%)。55名中、有効な回答は54名であった。6,54名中、前対人恐怖症状態の存在を認めたものは46名、認めなかったと回答したものは8名で、今回調査した対人恐怖症の85.2%に前対人恐怖症状態が存在することが判った。7,前対人恐怖症状態が出現した最小年齢は5歳で、最高年齢は51歳であった。平均年齢は15.6歳であった。8,前対人恐怖症状態としては、対人緊張が最も多かった。その他の項目も、現在統計解析を行い、前対人恐怖症状態の出現年齢と対人恐怖症の発症年齢との相関・家庭環境と前対人恐怖症状態の出現年齢との関連等について、検討中である。
