To support the humanity researches, where a lot of efforts are spent on data retrieval and filings, we have studied and implemented humanity-database compilation systems and a Digital Library system. This Digital Library system is in service on the Internet (http : //www.nijl.ac.jp/infocenter/), and is widely accessed from researchers.(1) Humanity-database compilation systemsFor full-text database compilations, GML is adopted as a structured markup system documents are not easy to write for humanists. and programs which translates PC files to SGML files are implemented. For very large and hyper-related database compilations. we have implemented an object-oriented Database sytem.(2) Digital Library systemVery fast, flexible and human-friendly services are realized by using the full-text search engine "Open Text" and hyperlinked SGML files.Encoded texts and original document images are also hyper linked, and you can inspect them contrastively.

为了支持人文学科的研究，其中大量的精力花在数据检索和归档，我们研究和实现了人文数据库编译系统和数字图书馆系统。这一数字图书馆系统在因特网上提供服务（http：//www.nijl.ac.jp/infocenter/），研究人员可广泛使用。(1)人文数据库编译系统对于全文数据库编译，采用GML作为结构化标记系统文档对于人文主义者来说不容易编写。实现了PC机文件到SGML文件的转换程序。用于非常大和超相关的数据库编译。实现了一个面向对象的数据库系统。(2)数字图书馆系统通过使用全文搜索引擎“Open Text”和超链接SGML文件，实现了非常快速、灵活和人性化的服务。编码文本和原始文档图像也被超链接，您可以对比查看。
