An Information Theoretical Research of Kanji Shapes in Modern Chinese

In this reseach, I tried to analyze the Kanji shape sets in **** of Modern Japanese and ***, especially 2418 most commonly use set, of Modern Chinese. The results are as follows.1.I drew out 604 script units, minimal foundamental elements which consist of ***, and showed all their geometrical standard figures. I,also presented the charts how they combined in each script of 2418 ***.2.Concerning to 604 units of *** and 626 units of ****, I examined the distributions of the geometrical "types" (I-VIII), which was proposed by the author before in connection of phonographs in the world.3.To analyze the characteristics of Kanji totally, I add the third set consisting of 355 script units extracted from ****, which was developed by the author for teaching Japanese Kanji efficiently to foreign students from non-Kanji area. Finally, I obtained almost same data from these 3 sets based on the rather different structuring standards.
