宮本は、perturbed rule 90のsurvival probabilityがerror probabilityについて単調であることを数値計算によりみいだし、この単調性のメカニズムの解明を試みた。浅野は、流体力学における境界層方程式の研究に、抽象的Cauchy-Kowarevski定理の応用を試みた。ある種の変則スケールの導入により、抽象的Cauchy-Kowarevski定理の範囲を拡張した。宇敷は、放物型不動点を持つ2次元複素力学系の吸引領域について考察を行い、ある種の退化した吸引領域の存在する条件を示した。河野は、有限次元norm空間に値をとるGauss過程の連続性の正確なmodulusを計算した。高崎は、超対称ゲージ理論のSeiberg-Witten解に内在するWhitham方程式の構造にたいしてPainleveIII型の等モノドロミ-変形による解釈を見いだした。より一般的な等モノドロミ-問題についてもWhitham方程式と同様な関係が成立することを示した。武内は、解析的偏微分方程式のグルサ問題の解の解析接続について研究し、特異初期値を持つコ-シ-問題に応用した。西山は、Cartan型のLie超代数W(n)について自然表現のtensor積の分解を論じ、intertwining作用素の空間を構成しその構造を調べた。また、Weyl群の表現に自然な同値類を定義し、この同値類にたいして簡単に計算可能な多項式が不変量として対応することを示した。
