项目摘要

グループウェアとは、複数の作業者による共同作業を支援し、情報共有、協調作業、コミュニケーションに必要な機能をアプリケーションに応じて提供するようなシステムである。これまでグループウェアの一分野であるワークフローシステムについて、状況に応じた変更をアドホックに行うシステムについては過去に研究成果があった。ところが、グループウェアの発展には、個々の事例に対応したアドホックな適応だけではなく、さらに次の段階であるプロセスの変更が必要になる。これは、ビジネスプロセスリエンジニアリングに相当する。すなわち、グループウェアの発展は、アドホックな変更(我々はこれをタクティクスと呼んでいる)と、アドホックな変更の履歴を参考にしてプロセスの改善を行なうリエンジニアリングとの二段階から構成される。しかしながら、タクティクス、リエンジニアリングのいずれの段階においても、変更の効果の事前検証が非常に重要な課題となっている。タクティクスにおいては、アドホックなプロセスの適応を自動的に行なっているが、この適応処理により効果が上がるのかどうかを事前に評価しておく必要がある。また、リエンジニアリングにおいても、改善後のプロセスの性能を事前に知る必要がある。特にグループウェアの場合には導入が大規模になるため、事前評価無しでの現場導入はリスクが大きく、事前評価に対する要求は非常に高い。そこで、本研究ではパーソナルコンピュータ上でシミュレーションツールを試作した。このシミュレーションツールは、エージェント指向のグループウェアを前提として、エージェントの振るまいと、それを利用する人間の振るまいを様々なモデルでシミュレートし、グループウェアないしプロセスの性能について事前評価を行なうことを目的としたものである。平成10年度は基本的な動作を確認した。平成11年度は、いろいろなケースへの適用性について検証する。
