Development in Positive Health Scales and Application to Community Elderly

人们普遍认为生活方式和健康状况之间存在着重要的关系。然而，在日本老年人口的案例中，这种关系并没有得到很好的记录。本研究采用《Ami老年人健康促进调查（复查）》资料，探讨茨城县Ami镇社区老年居民生活方式与健康状况的关系。（2906人中的2010人，69.2%）根据自我评价的健康状况，将受试者分为不健康组和健康组，考察生活方式对健康的影响。有健康生活方式的人在以往的研究中一直保持着良好的健康状况。此外，还澄清了社会支持状况、家庭关系、家庭角色等对心理健康的影响。

It is generally accepted that there are significant relationships between lifestyle and health status. However, such relationships have not been well documented in the case of the Japanese elderly population.Data from the Ami Health Promotion for Elderly Survey (reexamination) were employed to investigate the relationship between lifestyle and health status from elderly community residents in the Ami Town, Ibaraki Prefecture.(2,010 from 2,906 persons ; 69.2%) I divided the subjects into an unwell group and a healthy group based on self-evaluated health status, and examined the effects of lifestyle on health. The persons who were having healthy lifestyle as which former research have maintained good health condition.Moreover, it is clarified that the state of social support, family relations, domestic roles, etc. influence to mental health.
