A Study on The Faculty Development of University Physical Education (1999)

为弄清高校体育师资队伍建设中存在的问题和实际情况，对高校体育师资队伍的实际情况进行了调查，并尝试建立了体育教师数据库。研究结果如下：1.1991年《大学设置标准》改革后新建本科院校课程设置现状调查(1)从80所大学和27所专科院校收回问卷。(2)1991年后体育教育学分呈下降趋势。71.3%的大学要求2学分以下，37.0%的专科学校要求1学分以下。(3)一些规模较大的大学聘请体育教师。(4)作为大型大学，其体育设施不足。(5)体育与健康促进计划不足。(6)大学对课外体育活动的支持不够。大专院校体育教师数据库：(1)高龄教师比例不断增加。(2)截至2000年，45岁以下教师比例为35.6%。(3)超过一半的教师拥有硕士以上学历。利用这个数据库，我计划澄清体育教师的生命统计。

In order to clarify problems and actual conditions of faculty development of University Physical Education, A survey of the actual situation of the curriculawas executed and a data base of physical education teachers was tried to made. The results were as follows;1. A survey of the actual situation of the curricula of newly-established universities and junior colleges after reformation of the Standards for the Establishment of University in 1991(1) The questionnaire were returned form 80 universities and 27 junior colleges.(2) The number of credits required for physical education was decreasing after 1991. 71.3% of universities require less than 2 credits and 37.0% of junior colleges require less than 1 credit.(3) In spite of their size, some small universities employ physical education teachers.(4) The sport facilities they have are not sufficient as bigger universities.(5) Sports and health promotion programs are insufficient.(6) Extracurricular activities of sport are insufficiently supported by universities.2. A Data base of physical education teachers in universities and junior colleges(1) The proportion of more advanced aged teachers has been increasing.(2) The proportion of teachers under 45-year old is 35.6% as of 2000.(3) More than half the teachers have degrees over M.A..With this data base, I plan to clarify the vital statistics of physical education teachers.
