I worked the following to throw an objective light on state- regulated prostitution in Japanese modern times(1) gathering historical records of geisha and prostitute in the Edo period, and Meiji Taisho Showa petiod(2) gathering historical records of Thonson's Comission (which is a report thereupon poor children and women in Asia)(3) analizing a measure to counter Japanese government (especially the Ministry of Home Aftairs)
