The results of the survey of Familial Behget's disease (BD) were as follows :(1) We obtained reports on 83BD patients (41men ; 42women)with familial occurrence.(2) The positive rate of HLA-B51 was 53.1% (58.8%men ; 46.7%women)(3) The ocular lesions had a high positive correlation with HLA-B51, but had a high negative correlation with genital ulcers. The mean onset year of the patients with ocular symptoms (1973.3 ± 10.15) was lower than that of the patients without ocular symptoms(1981.3±8.78).(4) The proportion of the complete type and the patients with ocular symptoms among the patients with onset year of 1980 or later were significantly less than those among the patients with onset year of 1979 or before.2. The results of the genotyping of MICA gene by micro-satellite method in Indonesian.(1) The frequency of MICA genotypes of the 127 subjects was as follows : A9/9 was 14.1%, A9/6 was 5.5%, A9/5(5.1) was 28:3%, A9/4 was 11.0%, A6/6 was 1.5%, A6/5(5.1) was 1.5%, A6/4 was 0.79%, A5(5.1)/5(5.1) was 22.0%, A5(5.1)/4 was 11.0%, and A4/4 was 3.9%.(2) The frequency of MICA genotypes of the 48 Japanese control was as follows : A9/9 was 6.3%, A9/6 was 2.1%, A9/5(5.1) was 4.2%, A9/4 was 4.2%, A6/6 was 8.3%, A6/5(5.1) was 16.7%, A6/4 was 12.5%, A5(5.1)/5(5.1) was 31.3%, A5(5.1)/4 was 10.4%, and A4/4 was 4.2%.(3) The proportion of A9 (negative correlation with Behcet's disease) among Indonesian was higher than that, among Japanese and that of A6 (positive correlation with Behcet's disease), among Indonesian was lower than that among Japanese.
