本研究では,SCSを活用した大学間遠隔共同講義「教育工学特講」のプログラム開発と講義・演習方法及び講義の運営方法を検討した。SCSを活用した大学間遠隔共同講義「教育工学特講」にはSCS教育工学特講1(前期隔週金曜日2コマ,2単位)とSCS教育工学特講2(後期隔週金曜日2コマ,2単位)の2科目がある。前者は,授業研究・教師教育関連の内容を中心としたプログラムであり,授業研究と教師の成長,教育実践研究の方法と授業改善,授業設計と学習方略,授業におけるコミュニケーションとその改善,総合学習におけるカリキュラム開発及び授業実践研究とその改善,授業者及び学習者の観察分析評価の方法と授業改善,質的分析による授業研究方法と授業改善,教師に求められる資質能力と授業改善,21世紀に求められる教師の資質能力とその育成で構成した。後者は,情報教育・教育メディア関連の内容を中心としたプログラムであり,マルチメディア・ネットワーク時代におけるメディア教育,学校教育におけるメディア環境,コンピュータ活用を中心とした情報教育の系譜と展望,情報教育カリキュラムの開発と授業実践,教育映像情報データベースの開発と利用,放送番組の構成が生徒の番組視聴に及ぼす影響,テレビ会議システムを用いた遠隔共同交流学習システムの構成と授業実践,授業におけるマルチメディア・ネットワークの活用,遠隔講義における情報メディアの活用,コミュニケーションとメディア,教育調査データの解析と分析方法,情報通信手段を用いた教員研修システムの構成とその実践,教育情報化推進指導者養成研修の内容と方法,高度情報通信社会に求められる教師の役割とメディアリテラシーで構成した。講義を実施する過程で,a.複数講師及びVSAT局の担当教官が共同して行なう講義・演習方法として,協調型,支援型,対談型,討論型を試行し,その特徴を解明するとともに,講義目標や内容への適切性について考察した。b.講義の目標や内容に応じた講義・演習方法を検討した。c.インターネット及びAVメディアの利用とプレゼンテーション方法の方法を検討した。d.同期・双方向環境であるSCS実行時における複数局の講師・受講生間の演習場面における共同討論方法を検討した。e.WWWサーバを用いた非同期・双方向環境であるホームページ,電子掲示板,電子メールを用いた意見交換の方法を検討した。f.インターネットを用いた講義資料配信方法,レポートの提出方法,評価方法等を検討した。g.多数局が参加するSCS利用による大学間遠隔共同講義の運営方法を検討した。
