本研究は日本人の生活に洋装が定着した第二次大戦後から今日までの変化を服飾雑誌の製図とグラビアにより調査し、統計的分析を時系列的に行い、洋装導入期・高度成長期と異なる今日の着装の特徴および問題点を明白にするとともに、そめ結果を着装教育の現状と比較し、今後の教育内容を検討するものである。平成13年度には高校『家庭一般』から教科書の記述を被服領域の教育内容別に整理し、着装に関する内容をその他の内容と比較するためのデータ収集と整理を行った。これにより得られた結果と12年度の成果とを比較して、衣生活における着装の変容と教育内容との差異を明白にし、その成果に基づいて今後の着装教育の内容を検討し、提案する。1.各出版杜の教科書の掲載内容について学習指導要領の項目別に検討した結果、記述、表等の比較により、「イ.被服材料と被服管理」に関する掲載量が多く、「ア-(イ)日常着の着装」に関する掲載量が少ないことが明らかとなった。よって、教科書では、被服の材料の種類、性質や被服整理などの衣生活での知識面の学習が重視されていると考えられる。また、衣服計画の重要性などの社会全体の生活者としての自覚を促す学習を重視しているが、逆に、日常生活で着装の学習といった個人の内面、心理面に基づいた内容は充実していないことがわかった。2.これらの日常生活の着装に関する個性の表現や心理面に関する着装は、平成12年度までに調査してきた服飾雑誌の分析で、洋装導入期・高度成長期に変容し、特に1970年代以降に一般に重視され定着してきた内容と言える。また、時代により標榜されてきた特徴の変化を明らかにした。3.以上の双方の結果から、現代日本の着装の変容の構造と問題点、今後の展望を考察し、被服領域における着装教育の内容を検討し、具体的な内容を教材として提案する。.
