The purposes of this research were three points of the following. Build a description-type test (composition) database of the Placement Tests (1) Do the quantitative analysis of the database (2) To evaluate correlation with the Placement's Objective test and the description ability of the student from overseas (3) About 600 examples of composition data were machine-readable, and coding was done as for (1). As for (3), the grammar of the objective test, the Place to investigate correlation with SPOT. Acooperator (Mr. Hasegawa) developed "the composition checker" which used CHASEN.

本研究的目的有以下三点。建立分级考试的描述型测试(作文)数据库(1)对数据库进行量化分析(2)评价与分级客观测试和留学生描述能力的相关性(3)大约600个作文数据是机器可读的，并按照(1)的方式进行编码。至于(3)，客观测试的语法，考察地点与现场的相关性。一位合作伙伴(长谷川先生)开发了使用Chasen的“作文检查器”。
