项目摘要
The object of this research is to analyze theoretically and practically the comparative advantage of logistics adaptive strategy in the Japan international physical distribution industry. In last 20 years logistics strategy has arrived the third level, that is, supply chain management (SCM). How the Japan international physical distribution industry can have been adaptive on this development process of logistics strategy should be demonstrated especially in the Asian trade.In Ch.1 I confirm the developing process of shippers' logistics strategy has been strongly combined with revolutionary changes in their business models. In Ch.2 I analyze econometrically the Japan multinational enterprises located in US, EU and Asia regions and conclude what kind of the special features can be identified from the aspect of four industries of textile, general machine, electric machine and transport machine. By using the physical distribution data in the Asia-Pacific trade, in Ch.3 I try to demonstrate how much degree of strategic rationality can be measured in the logistics strategy of Japan multinational enterprises located in Asia in compared with their global trend. In Ch.4 I give stress both of the discriminative features of revolutionary logistics strategy and the matured logistics strategy on each side of shipping carrier and forwarders. In Ch. 5 I discuss how we can build up the new development model of Japanese ports and propose new management system especially in Osaka Bay Area composed both of the Ports of Kobe and Osaka. Finally in Ch. 6 I build up and demonstrate the export driver hypothesis induced both from product life theory and modal choice behavior between air and sea transportations. Thus, I can analyze the comparative advantage of logistics adaptive strategy in the Japan international physical distribution industry from many points of view above mentioned in global world featured by IT revolution and deregulation.
本研究旨在从理论和实践上分析日本国际物流业物流适应战略的比较优势。近20年来,物流战略已经发展到第三个层次,即供应链管理。日本国际物流业如何适应这种物流战略的发展过程,尤其是在亚洲贸易中,应该得到证明。在第一章中,我确认了托运人物流战略的发展过程与其商业模式的革命性变化紧密结合。第二章对位于美国、欧盟和亚洲地区的日本跨国企业进行计量经济分析,总结出纺织、通用机械、电机和运输机械四个行业可以识别出哪些特殊性。第三章利用亚太地区的物流数据,从日本跨国企业在亚洲的物流战略与其全球化趋势的比较中,论证其物流战略的合理性程度。第四章着重分析了航运公司和货代公司的革命性物流战略和成熟物流战略的区别特征。第五章探讨了日本港口发展的新模式,特别是在由科比港和大坂港组成的大坂湾地区,提出了新的管理体制。最后,在第六章中,我从产品生命周期理论和空运与海运之间的运输方式选择行为两方面建立并论证了出口驱动假说。因此,在以IT革命和自由化为特征的全球化背景下,可以从上述多个角度分析日本国际物流业的物流适应战略的比较优势。
