DeGould Limited is a privately held British engineering company whose mission is to deliver market-leading automated digital vehicle inspections. Today, DeGould has automated vehicle inspection solutions installed with leading OEMs and supply chain partners globally. These solutions include the flagship Auto-scan booth, as well as DeGould's latest product addition, Auto-compact. The Auto-compact booth is the ultimate digital vehicle inspection; combining industry 4.0 connectivity, ultra-high-resolution image capture and the latest AI damage detection condensed into a small hardware footprint. Ultra-high-resolution images of the vehicle are captured and bespoke ML algorithms detect even the smallest of damage and identify any specification errors. This allows OEMs or FVL partners to repair the damage or correct the specification before the vehicle enters the downstream logistics chain. The benefit for the customer is the reduction in labour through automation (while also increasing accuracy) and the reduction in warranty claims. Case studies have demonstrated a payback of as little as 6 months. This project is anticipated to deliver transformative effects for DeGould by generating a step change in revenues, enabling team growth and allowing further investment in cutting edge technology. DeGould's innovative solutions will benefit the UK economy through extensive export opportunities with DeGould's global customer base.
