近年,10代の人工妊娠中絶率の増加等,性の逸脱行動につながる無防備な性行動を行う青少年の増加が懸念される。こうした現状は,従来行ってきた学校健康教育が,青少年の無防備な性行動を抑制することに対して,必ずしも効果的ではなかったことを示している。そこで,本研究では,無防備な性行動に陥りやすい状況に対応するための能力の中でも,ピアプレッシャーに対処するためのコミュニケーションスキルの育成に焦点を当てた学校健康教育プログラムを作成することを目的とした。はじめに,文献レビュー,教員等からの助言,予備的評価の結果に基づき,プログラムおよび評価のための調査票(知識・態度・自己効力感ほか)を試作した。次に,その影響について評価するために,授業実施前後で比較する実験授業を行った。対象は,北海道内の公立高等学校2校第2学年計2クラス,計51名(男子58.8%,女子41.2%)である。主な結果として,男女ともに,6割以上の者が授業内容について有用に感じ,知識に関する項目全体の得点について有意な改善がみられた。また,女子では,態度に関する項目全体の得点についても有意な改善がみられ,自己効力感に関する項目全体の得点については,有意差は認められなかったものの,改善傾向はみられた。今回試作したプログラムにおいては,男子から女子に対してピアプレッシャーをかける場面設定での学習であったため,全体として,特に女子において,一定の効果が認められた。今後は,女子から男子に対してピアプレッシャーをかける場面設定も工夫したり,ロールプレイング等を用いてコミュニケーションスキルを向上させるための補足的な授業を加えたりする等,男女ともに,より効果の高いプログラムに改善する必要があると考える。
