项目摘要

今年は、環境問題を解決するための方策として執筆された「環境絵本」の分析を通して、環境教育の哲学の基礎理論となるような内容の教育現象学的研究を行った。同時に、子ども時代にかならず聞かされるような「物語」について詳細に分析した。人間の生成の過程では、かならず小動物との出会いがあることから、臨床の「環境と人間に関する」教育学の構築を目指した。その成果は、世織書房『物語の臨界』に掲載される予定である。さらに、環境思想的、環境学的、教育学的、教育哲学的なアプローチで、環境教育の理念・定義・歴史・方法・評価などに関する研究を、主として文献により研究した。アメリカの卓抜した環境教育学者であるパワーズの論文を環境教育ダブルバインド論としてまとめた。この成果は、ナカニシヤ書店『応答する教育哲学』に掲載された。以上のように、様々な環境教育の関連文献による先行研究を検討することによって、環境教育の教育哲学を構築する一歩手前まで至った。結論的には、(1)環境教育には批判的教育学の視点が必要であり、現在の学校教育に関する構造的な転換が必要になること(2)環境教育には、臨床教育学の視点が必要であり、カリキュラム化された環境教育ばかりではなくて、既に存在している環境教育を再発見することが重要であって、その意味を解釈することが今後の課題となること。(3)教員養成課程においては、環境教育の取り組みは不十分であること。(昨年度の調査より)以上の三点が、本研究によって明らかにされた。
