昨年度までは,本来同一であるべき領域分割図データ間における名称属性,位相構造,空間解像度,境界線形状,境界線位置の相違を半自動的に検出することができ,また,空間解像度および境界線形状を扱う上で,フーリエ変換を利用していることを大きな特徴とするコンピュータシステムの開発を行った。今年度は,まず,このコンピュータシステムを利用し,国土地理院および総務庁統計局によって作成された,東京23区の町丁目界における相違違出という実証的研究を行った。その結果,・総務庁統計局によって作成されたデータに位相構造の相違が多く見られる・北区,文京区,新宿区,葛飾区に関しては,空間解像度あるいは境界線形状に関する不一致が,他の区と比べて顕著に存在している。・すべての区において,程度はごく微少であるが,同一の向きに回転しているというずれが見られる・葛飾区,渋谷区,江東区,大田区,台東区,中央区,品川区に関しては,町丁目界全体が,平行移動的にずれているなど,これら二つの異なった主体によって作成された領域分割図データの間には,無視し得ない相違が存在しているという結果を得た。次に,これらの結果をとりまとめ,地理情報システム学会,および,GIScience2002(地理情報科学分野における最大の審査付き国際学術集会)において発表を行った。これらの発表時における質疑・討論より,本研究で提案してきた手法の異なる二時点において取得される同一地域・同一主題のデータの更新への応用,空間解像度を扱う上でのフーリエ変換以外の手法の利用など,今後進めていくべき研究課題に関する重要な示唆を得た。

In this study, we propose different methods to update the data in the same region and subject at different time points, and use different methods to improve the spatial resolution. We also propose important suggestions for future research projects.
