项目摘要

道具雛形には大別して礼法書系と建築書系とがあり、前年までに各々の内容の特質や歴史的変遷について分析を行ってきた。本年度はこれを総括し、道具雛形全体の内容的特質および歴史的変遷過程について考察した。結果、まず礼法書系、建築書系それぞれの基本内容をまとめ、そこに認められる代表的道具の種類を明らかにした。すなわち、礼法書系道具雛形においては<礼法書系基本道具>、建築書系道具雛形においては<屋敷基本道具>および<数寄屋基本道具>から成る<建築書系基本道具>として認識し、これらを総合して道具雛形における<基本道具>と称することとした。さらにこれら基本道具の主要なものについては、機能、形態、設計寸法などを明らかにするとともに、道具の設計図を作成し視覚的に効果のある方法を用いて表現した。特に建築書系道具雛形において主要な道具と認められた文房具の文台については、形態や設計寸法のみならず、道具の機能や室礼における用法の変遷などの歴史的背景について考察した。結果、文台について、設計寸法に規格寸法は認められないものの長さ幅を合計して三十一寸の指示寸法が多く見られること、しばしば硯箱と一具をなすこと、高い工芸技術により美しく装飾されたものが多いこと、飾りの道具として他の文房具と合わせた室礼の例があることなどを明らかにした。
