项目摘要

本研究は、北フランスのカンブレー大聖堂の聖歌隊を素材として取り上げ、音楽史上「ルネサンス」期と称される15、16世紀の西欧世界における、音楽家の社会的身分のあり方とその組織構造の解明を目的とするものである。昨年度、私は特別研究員奨励費を使用して、上記の教会関連の史料が保存されているフランスのノール県立文書館ならびにカンブレー市立図書館で約一ヶ月間、調査を行った。本年度は、その際デジタル・カメラにて複製した史料の分析を行いつつ、そこで得られた成果を学術論文として発表することに専念した。その結果、計三本の研究成果を得た(以下の記述は裏面の「11.研究発表」に基づく)。最初の論文は、「少年聖歌隊教師」というカンブレー大聖堂の音楽生活において重要な役割を担っていた職務について論じたものであり、在職した人物の活動や就任過程を検討することで、同教会の雇用戦略は15世紀末にひとつの転換を迎えることを明らかにした。二つ目は、研究史上カンブレー大聖堂との密接な関係が指摘されるローマ教皇庁の聖歌隊との人的交流を扱ったものである。そこでは、先行研究によってやや誇張されていた両者の関係に修正を加えつつ、この二つの機関を往来していた音楽家に関して類型化が行われ、前述の研究課題に対する寄与がなされている。そして最後の論文は、こうした研究を行う上での基本的な史料であるものの、それ自体としては看過されてきた聖歌隊の会計記録を財政史的側面より再検討し、聖歌隊の財務構造の変容を追ったものである。前年度ならびに以上の成果から、私はカンブレー大聖堂の聖歌隊の組織構造と当時の音楽家一般の社会的身分に関して、従来の研究ににない新しい見解を提示しつつある。むろん、他の音楽機関の比較検討など、なお課題は多い。今回の特別研究員としての研究期間は本年度をもって終了するが、今後もこの課題に取り組んでゆくつもりである。

This study is based on the historical background of music in Western Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries, and on the understanding of the social identity and organizational structure of music families. Last year, the Special Researcher's Encouragement Fund was used to preserve the historical materials related to the church in the Chinese Library and the Municipal Library for about one month. This year's academic papers are published on the basis of the analysis of historical data. The results of this study were obtained by calculating three basic research results (the following description is based on the "11. Research Development Table" in the article). The original thesis is "Young Chant Team Teacher" and "The Great Church's Music Life". The important service and duty are discussed. The on-the-job character's activities and the process of taking office are discussed. The employment of the same church is discussed at the end of the 15th century. 2. In the history of research, the close relationship between the Great Sage Hall and the Pope's hymn team was criticized. In this paper, the author studies the relationship between the author and the author, and corrects the relationship between the author and the author, and analyzes the relationship between the author and the author. Finally, the paper studies the basic historical materials, the accounting records and the financial history. In the past year, the achievements mentioned above have been revealed, and the organizational structure of the choir of the Great Hall has been revealed, and the identity of the general society of the music family at that time has been revealed. There are many topics to discuss in the comparative study of other music institutions. This year's research period is over, and future research topics are selected.
