项目摘要

研究実施計画に従って、1)17世紀〜18世紀の先住民系歴史文書の分析を継続するとともに、2)クリオーリョ知識人の歴史叙述に関する調査を行った。まず、1)に関して、今年度は3本の論文を発表し、5度の口頭発表を行った。3本の論文のうち、2本(西文)は昨年までの調査内容を論文としてまとめたもので、残る1本(和文)は今年度分析を進めてきた文書に関するものである。5度の口頭発表に関しては、日本西洋史学会(5月)、日本ラテンアメリカ学会(6月)、ウィーンでの国際シンポジウム(6月、代読発表)、メキシコ市での国際会議(9月)、日本ラテンアメリカ学会東日本部会(11月)において発表を行った。6月のウィーンでの国際シンポジウムは教員公募の面接(結果は不採用)のため、出席の見送りを余儀なくされたが、メキシコ人類学高等研究院(ベラクルス州ハラパ)所属の研究員、米田恵子氏の協力により、代読という形で参加を認められた。ウィーンおよびメキシコ市での発表内容は、いずれも論文集として出版予定で、現在は原稿の審査中である。9月のメキシコへの出張では、上述の発表とあわせて、3週間の古文書の調査(メキシコ国立公文書館)、および研究対象となる先住民共同体の現状のフィールドワークを行い、未公刊の先住民系文書を見つけることができた。2)に関しては、文献の探索から始め、相当量の既刊史料および研究書・論文を集めることができた。現在はそれらを読み進める作業を行っている。また、3月には再度、渡墨し、欠けている文献をメキシコ国立自治大学等の研究機関で参照し、来年度の分析に役立てるべく、現地の研究者と意見交換をした。

The research projects include: 1) the analysis of documents on the history of indigenous peoples from the 17th century to the 18th century; 2) the investigation of historical narratives of indigenous intellectuals. This year, 3 papers were published and 5 oral papers were published. 3. The research contents of this paper, 2 (Spanish), 1 (Japanese), and 1 (Chinese) are analyzed in this year.
