项目摘要

本年度は、主に以下、二つの観点から研究を進めた。1.1920年代の日本のカリキュラム改造に関する平成13年度の研究成果を踏まえながら、1930-40年代のカリキュラム改造の試みについて、当時の実践面・理論面での嚆矢であった及川平治と津田信雄の指導下にあった仙台市教育研究所の実態を解明した。津田信雄は1920年代東京市富士見小学校で独自なカリキュラム研究実践を行っていたが、これまでのカリキュラム研究史で殆ど注目されてこなかった人物であり、本研究では彼の業績の解明も行った。これまで地方の実態に即したカリキュラム研究を行う地方公(市)設教育研究所は戦前の日本には存在していなかったという定説に対し、仙台市教育研究所は、教育行政に力を発揮した渋谷徳三郎市長の庇護の下、及川と津田を擁したことにより、カリキュラム研究に積極的に踏み込んでいたことが明らかになった。以上の結果から、本研究は戦前期日本のカリキュラム研究の水準のみならず、地方教育研究所の存在意義について新たな知見をもたらしたと言える。これらの成果は『秋田大学教育文化学部紀要』と同『教育実践研究紀要』とにまとめた。2.昨年度に引き続き、戦後秋田県のコア・カリキュラムに関する資料の収集と分析を行った。昨年度、秋田県内の戦後改革期のコア・カリキュラム資料の残存状況を調査した結果、秋田師範学校附属中学校に一定の纏まった資料があることが判明した。今年度その資料を分析した結果、当校を中心として県内の中学校が研究提携していることが明らかになり、当時の関係者の聞き取りも含め、これら提携校の資料収集も行った。教科担任制である中学校において、教科越境的なコア・カリキュラム実践を可能にしていた条件について、特に教師の戦前・戦時中の初等教育での教職経験の有無が影響しているのではないかという仮説のもと、現在も研究を継続している。
