前年度に上越教育大学とフランスのルーアン・パリ第8大学で行った予備調査の結果に基づき、2002年5〜7月に、関西と北陸の6大学1短大で、集合調査法による本調査(全2176サンプル)を実施した。文科系学部1・2年クラスに限定した上で、地域、設置者、最も競争的(selective)か否かの3つの基準に従って対象校を選定し、過去の学習経歴と現在の学生生活に関して質問した。予備調査結果と同様に日本の学生においては、フランスのケースと異なり、(1)社会人学生や外国人学生の比率がきわめて少なく、出生年、高校種別、少ない職業経験などの面において高い同質性が確認されること、(2)家庭教育の経験が相対的に乏しく、小学生時に習い事に通い、中学生以降に塾や予備校に通うという、主要な学習経験のパターンが見られることを明らかにした。その上で、各大学・短大に見られる学習経歴と学生生活の多様性についての検討を行った。日仏比較を念頭に置いた予備調査結果の分析は、前年度の学会発表に引き続き、上越教育大学研究紀要に論文を執筆した。本調査の結果については、2002年9月に日本教育社会学会第54回大会(「大学・短大生の学習経験と学生生活-関西と北陸の調査結果の分析から-」)、2003年2月に金沢大学FD研究会(「金沢大学文学部生の学生生活の状況」)にて報告を行った。また、2002年2〜3月に、予備調査と本調査の結果を記述した報告書を作成した。報告書の仏訳版をフランス人研究者に送付し、さらなる日仏比較調査の可能性を探るための連絡調整を行った。

The results of a preliminary survey conducted at the 8th University of Education in the previous year were based on the results of a collective survey conducted at 6 universities in Kansai and Hokuriku from May to July 2002 (all 2176 sites). Faculty of Arts Year 1/2: Questions related to upper, regional, setter, most competitive (selective), past and present student life The results of the preliminary survey are similar to those of Japanese students.(1) The ratio of social students to foreign students is small, year of birth, type of college, age, occupation, and surface homogeneity is high.(2) The lack of family education is relatively small, elementary school students are familiar with things, middle school students are familiar with things, and secondary school students are familiar with things. The main reason for this is that we are learning from each other. The university and university have a variety of activities to discuss. The paper was written by the author of the research report of the previous year's Institute of Education. The results of this survey were presented at the 54th Conference of the Japan Society for Social Education (September 2002)("Study and Life of College and Junior College Students: Analysis of Survey Results in Kansai and Hokuriku"), and at the FD Research Institute of Kanazawa University (February 2003)("Student Life of Kanazawa University's Faculty of Literature"). From February to March 2002, a report describing the results of the investigation was prepared. The report was published by the researchers, and the possibility of comparative investigation was explored and adjusted.
