Structure Discription in Digital Archive System for Rare Articles

In this research, the contents in which structure and semantic information, such as the Bible, and a score, genealogy, are becoming target of digital archives.Without only stopping at handling of an image on the occasion of the digital archives of these valuable books, a structural description was extracted out of the image, and by taking into consideration bibliographical contents analysis of page composition, a layout, printing technique, etc., etc., the reference by the high order index which used those analysis results as the key, and the image retreival on the Internet aims realization of a structure description type digital-archives system.
