今年度は、昨年度に開拓したフィールドを基盤とし、当該研究目的に照らし、データ収集および分析・解釈を行った。今後は引き続き分析を重ね、国内学会において報告を行う予定である。1.データ収集研究対象は、周産期領域において胎児が医学的なリスクを負うことを引き受けながら妊娠・出産を選択した女性である。データ収集方法として、軟骨無形成症の児をもつ親の会の全国支部の事務局に調査協力(調査対家の条件に合致した対象の紹介)を依頼した。軟骨無形成症の児を育てながら、次子妊娠を選択し、実際に出産を遂げた女性で、研究参加の同意が得られた8名の女性に対し、1-2回の非構成的な面接を行い、対象とする現象(先天性障害児に続く次子妊娠・出産)に特有な状況をデータとして収集した。面接内容は、許可を得て録音し、口述のデータを逐語録に起こし、分析素材とした。2.データ分析と解釈研究対象者の口述データ(逐語録)を熟読し、帰納的に分析を行った。事例ごとの経験全体の意味を捉え、記述した。現在、8名の分析結果を統合し、類型化を試みている。3.今年度に得られた成果(胎)児が骨疾患を有していることが発覚した際の状況とその時点での「次子妊娠の見通し」には、医療関係者が行った「遺伝に関連した情報提供の妥当性」、「夫・家族のサポート」および「児の健康状態」が大きく影響しており、骨疾患を有する児を育てるなかで培われた「新たな次子妊娠の意味」は、当初の「出生前診断の意味と価値」を変容させ、次子妊娠時の検査の選択に影響を与えていたと考えられる。
