项目摘要

本年度の研究実績としてまず挙げられるのはインドネシア・北スラウェシ州に位置するサンギヘ・タラウド諸島における考古学調査を実施がある。これは前年度に同地域で実施された民族考古学的調査の継続調査として計画されたものである。この調査はジャカルタにあるインドネシア考古研究センターおよびマナド博物館をカウンターパートとして計画されたもので、2005年度には、これまで本格的な考古学調査が実施されてこなかったサンギヘ諸島での発掘調査と豊富な考古遺跡が確認されているタラウド諸島での発掘調査を同時に実施した。また発掘調査と共に遺跡周辺における現在の村民によって実践される漁撈や農耕といった生計活動に関する世帯調査も補助的に行っている。2005年度に発掘調査を実施した遺跡は、タラウド諸島のカバルアン島に位置する交易・歴史時代に相当する開地遺跡群とサンギヘ諸島の大サンギヘ島に位置する岩陰遺跡である。これらの発掘調査では大量の貝類遺存体・動物遺存体・土器片を含む豊富な遺物が収集された。これら出土遺物の詳細な分析は現在も進行中であるが、発掘調査の概要と出土した土器片を対象とした胎土分析による成果の一部は既に投稿論文として発表した(現在、印刷中)。また11月から12月にかけてはミクロネシア連邦のヤップ諸島に位置するファイス島にて漁撈・農耕活動に関する民族考古学調査を実施した他、同島内で実施された考古学調査に参加し、多くの遺物を収集した。これらの出土遺物は現在、国立民族学博物館に保管されており、分析中である。この他、2004年度にマレーシアのサバ州で行った調査成果の一部を国際学会にて発表した。

This year's research results include the implementation of archaeological surveys on the islands of the United States and the United States.
