项目摘要

今年度はマイクロデータを利用し、以下の実証研究を行なった。1 職場の喫煙規制が喫煙行動に与える影響の検証2 認知症高齢者グループホーム市場で営利・非営利事業者の提供する介護サービスの質の比較3 単一効用モデルが日本の家計で成立するかの検証1に関しては、Appliied Economics Lettersに掲載されることが決まっている。(掲載時期・掲載巻号・掲載ページは未定)2に関しては、平成17年(2005年)に国際医療経済学会(International Health Economic Association)・日本経済学会・医療経済研究会議で報告した。平成15年(2003年)に都市部に立地する認知症高齢者グループホームに対して、郵送形式によるアンケート調査を実施し、このアンケート調査によって得たデータを使用している。営利事業者と非営利事業者の間で、提供するサービスの質に違いがあるかを、検証している。分析の結果、非営利事業者のほうが質の高いサービスを提供していると考えられる項目が多いことが判明している。3に関しては、東京大学社会科学研究所のデータアーカイブのマイクロデータ、日本版総合社会調査(Japanese General Social Survey)を使用し、家計の意思決定主体が誰であるかによって、家計内資源配分が変わるか、という点に着目し、単一効用モデルが妥当であるかを検証している。分析の結果、妻が家計内の主要な意思決定主体である家計と、それ以外の意思決定方法をもった家計とでは、夫と妻の労働供給に違いがあることが判明している。これは単一効用モデルの棄却を示唆する結果である。上記の論文は、いずれも平成18年(2006年)3月末に提出する博士論文を構成する論文となる。
