本年度は、自閉症の科学技術人類学を展開するため、わが国の自閉症についての研究史や、自閉症者への政策支援の変遷、および自閉症者の権利運動の展開に焦点を当て、特殊教育・医療の研究者や実践者、障害児の親を中心に聞き取りと参与観察を行った。一方で、10月には、日本の事例との比較するため、「自閉症」をめぐる科学研究の状況に焦点を当て、アメリカ合衆国ノースカロライナ州での調査を行った。文献の収集のみならず、障害児教育に携わる現地活動家や研究者への聞き取り調査を行った。この研究成果の一部をSociety for Social of Scienceの2005年研究大会(パサデナ)および『社会臨床雑誌』の投稿論文で発表した。昨年度から実施している埼玉県内の「福祉農園」での参与観察も、継続して行った。環境政策と福祉政策の融合を図る上で、「農業」が果たす意味に焦点を当て、参与観察と関係者の聞き取り等を行い、情報収集を行った。それにより、「地域福祉」を機能させる要素として、政策的裏づけのみならず、地域社会内の社会関係資本や、その土地に固有の環境的な資源を利用・醸成する必要があり、そのための有効な手段として農業が果たす意味が大きいことを明らかにした。この調査結果に関しては、『日本ボランティア学会2004・2005年度学会誌』への掲載論文として発表した。

This year, the development of science and technology anthropology of autism, the research history of autism in China, the shift of policy support for autistic people, the focus of the development of autism benefit movement, the research of special education and medical care, and the practice of parents of children with disabilities are all involved in the investigation. In October, the Japanese case was compared with the case of autism, and the focus of scientific research was on the investigation of the United States. Literature collection, research, education, research, and research are conducted by local activists and researchers. A part of this research achievement was presented at the 2005 Society for Social Science Research Conference () and the submission paper of "Social Clinical Journal." Last year, the "Welfare Farm" in Saitama Prefecture participated in the inspection and implementation of the project. Environmental policy and welfare policy integration,"agriculture" and other means of focus, participation, and information collection "Regional well-being" is a function of factors, policies, social relations, capital, land and environmental resources, and means of agriculture. The results of this survey are reported in the publication of the Journal of the Japanese Academy of Sciences for 2004 and 2005.
